All hotels offer a Happy hour 18.30 to 20.00 with nightly entertainment – outside guests are made most welcome. The local hotels are also good for food and evening entertainment

The village of Caniço, with a shopping centre and supermarkets, is about 2km away. Funchal the capital of Madeira is approx. 12km. The airport is 13Km. A local bus runs hourly to Funchal, Caniço Village and other locations on the eastern side of the island. The bus stop is about 30m from the apartment.

Because the apartment is located in a designated tourist area, there are a number of very good local restaurants, within walking distance. All the 12 local hotels welcome outsiders using the pools and facilities. Some charge a small fee.
